Future airline pilot
Start a professional pilot career in the Cirrus SR22, from your first lesson through the private, instrument and commercial ratings.
There is a global shortage of professional pilots, and airlines look for pilots trained in modern, technically advanced aircraft.
Private pilot: at least 40 hours of flight time, including 10 hours solo and 5 hours of cross-country, plus the FAA written exam and checkride. Most students need 70 to 80 hours.
Instrument rating: 50 hours of cross-country as pilot in command, 40 hours of actual or simulated instrument time and the instrument written exam.
Commercial pilot: 250 hours total time, the commercial written exam and checkride. Instructor ratings then let you build time toward airline minimums.
