The day opens with a briefing on the Avidyne avionics, the approaches and go/no-go decisions. We cover weather sources, NOTAMs, filing, alternates, special VFR, contact and visual approaches, VFR-on-top and cruise clearances, plus a system failure, partial panel and unusual-attitude recovery.
